What is PM-Kisan?

PM-Kisan is a Government of India scheme that provides financial support to farmers.

Benefits
  • ₹6,000 per year to eligible farmers
  • Paid in 3 installments of ₹2,000 each
  • Money is sent directly to the bank account (DBT)

Eligibility

Who is eligible?
  • Small & marginal land-holding farmers
  • Farmer must:
    • Own cultivable land
    • Have Aadhaar linked bank account
    • Complete e-KYC
Who is NOT eligible?
  • Income tax payers
  • Government employees (Group A/B, most pensions)
  • Professionals like doctors, engineers, lawyers, CAs
Important requirements:
  • Aadhaar card
  • Bank account linked with Aadhaar
  • Land records updated
  • e-KYC mandatory
How to check PM-Kisan status
  • Beneficiary status
  • Installment payment status

    • (Using Aadhaar / mobile / registration number on the PM-Kisan portal)
