What is the scheme?

The Mukhyamantri Majhi Ladki Bahin Yojana is a Government of Maharashtra welfare scheme aimed at providing financial assistance to women.

Benefits

₹1,500 per month
Amount is transferred directly to the beneficiary’s bank account (DBT)

Eligibility (A woman must):

Be a resident of Maharashtra
Be 21 to 65 years of age
Have annual family income up to ₹2.5 lakh
Have a bank account linked with Aadhaar

Not eligible:

Income tax payers
Government employees (Group A & B)
Women receiving substantial regular benefits from other government schemes
